Shorter University programs to acquire an inner-city enterprise innovation hub in North Little Rock following school officials have been notified Friday that they’d get millions of dollars in grant funding.
University President Jerome Inexperienced said Shorter and the College of Arkansas Worldwide Campus jointly applied for a $25 million grant from the U.S. Department of Schooling to acquire their innovation hubs. He stated the two campuses had been awarded $13 million, which will be split at a afterwards date.
